Louisiana Shrimp Trawler - by Nan
This painting is a recollection of my visits to my mother-in-law and father-in-law's home in Westwego, Louisiana. We spent many days at Edmond's camp on Bayou Segnette, where many people who lived off their seafood catch made their home. It wasn't uncommon to see trawl boats docked in the area, off loading their catch to the local seafood lot.
This piece was created on a 30x40 canvas using acrylic paint. It can be hung as is or frame to accent its beauty.
